Meditation is the resulting state of clear awareness made possible through the application of a series of techniques designed to redirect mental focus to a single point. When this focus is maintained for an extended period the mind becomes still and an underlying state of consciousness, spoken of as original mind or pure awareness can be witnessed and experienced.

In a practical sense, meditation is mind training. The activity of meditation involves cultivating non-attachment and establishing a discipline of focusing attention, at will.

Soul Strut is a 40-day journey designed to facilitate the transformation of limited thinking about ourselves and the world. Participants practice lifting their consciousness to become self-empowering and more expansive in their thinking.

Group practice:

  • Redirection of attention toward what’s really true
  • Deepen and strengthen existing meditation practices
  • Learn techniques for reducing the impact of emotional “triggers”.

Journaling As A Spiritual Practice

Fontain pen with a drop of inkKeeping a personal record of life events and the impressions they make upon us has long been recognized as a powerful tool for the spiritual journey. Spiritual Journaling is especially beneficial to those who wish to focus on their inner work and track the movement of the inner life. It is a way to encourage progress in stuck areas through employing deep introspection. If we desire to access and work with the many layers of ourselves, it is useful to have as many inroads as possible. I believe the spiritual journal to be one of these inroads.

The method for journaling that I offer utilizes my life-long experience with this tool. Amplification of practices that proved useful to my spiritual discernment and advancement are key components of the course. Each aspect of the practice has the potential to open a new window of insight into the movement of the spirit in our lives.

What I offer is not unique or some ground-breaking new technology. I incorporate techniques I’ve learned from others as well as those I’ve discovered independently. This workshop is an offering arising from my soul’s desire to support others in exploring ways to listen within and align with their own soul guidance.
